Staff Software Engineer - Frontend & AI Tooling (AI Enablement)

Location: Hybrid in Bogotá, Colombia; Mexico City, Mexico; or São Paulo, Brazil. Office time is expected organically and may be required most days during ramp-up or when requested by the leader.

What you will do

• Own the frontend architecture of hirify.global Builders, including its React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, and component systems.
• Extend backend services, Prisma/Postgres data models, authentication flows, and the Dokploy deployment pipeline across staging, beta, and production.
• Work on the Cloudflare AI Gateway proxy to add providers, improve routing, and expose models through an internal endpoint.
• Build and extend AI agent infrastructure, including Figma-to-code MCP, documentation synchronization, and n8n automation flows.
• Design and ship new AI tooling such as OAuth Clients and unified access proposals, while defining initially undocumented requirements.
• Contribute to GitHub organization access automation and set the technical bar through code reviews and hands-on engineering.

Requirements

• Strong modern frontend engineering experience with React, Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui.
• Demonstrated experience building on top of LLMs through agents, MCP integrations, LLM gateways or proxies, and automation pipelines.
• Backend experience with Postgres, Prisma or an equivalent typed ORM, authentication flows, OAuth, and API design.
• Ability to work autonomously, define scope, own outcomes, and drive initiatives without assigned tasks from an engineering manager.
• English proficiency is required.
• Hybrid work is required from Bogotá, Mexico City, or São Paulo, with office attendance expected as needed.

• Experience with design-to-code pipelines, design systems, or internal developer platforms.
