Lead Fullstack Ruby Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, including backend services, APIs, and user-facing web interfaces.
• Develop backend systems with Ruby on Rails and responsive interfaces with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability across the application stack.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product teams, and client technical counterparts to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Guide team members, conduct code reviews, and contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions.
• Improve development processes, system performance, and developer experience across the stack.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with extensive experience building complex web applications with React.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with TDD and QA automation.
