Manufacturing Specialist, Weekend Day Shift

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite weekend day shift. Schedule: Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Hourly pay ranges from $21.90–$30.12 for Level 1, $24.47–$33.65 for Level 2, and $30.91–$42.50 for Level 3, plus a 5% shift differential where applicable.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and verify LPBF additive printers, vacuum furnaces, ultrasonic cleaning systems, media blast systems, EDM, and CNC mills.
• Prepare production work, load and unload fixtures and baskets, and transfer materials between departments.
• Inspect and measure features, document results, and follow production work orders and work instructions.
• Identify process changes and resolve discrepancies in documentation, records, counts, inventory, and ERP data.
• Support cross-functional continuous improvement teams, 6S housekeeping, general maintenance, and production activities.
• Follow and enforce health, safety, and quality policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work history with 3–5 years of heavy manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Epicor is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform the essential duties and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to complete forklift operator training and read documents, computer screens, and files.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher.
• Knowledge of import/export compliance, customs documentation, ITAR, Incoterms, commercial invoices, or shipper export declarations.
• Knowledge of 6S.
