Staff Product Manager, AI (Industrial Automation)

Location: New York City; hybrid work environment with in-office lunches at the NYC HQ. Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.

Compensation: $205,000–$230,000 annual base salary, plus meaningful equity.

hirify.global Automation provides disaster recovery and Git-based source control technology for industrial automation and operational technology environments.

What you will do

• Own hirify.global Copilot, including code documentation, legacy code interpretation, logic conversion, and outputs using hirify.global repositories and device backups.
• Define the AI product vision based on hirify.global’s customer context and data advantages.
• Set the AI roadmap from code intelligence through incident response, autonomous agents, and OT cyber resilience.
• Write product specifications and collaborate closely with the AI engineering team.
• Own pricing, packaging, monetization, go-to-market strategy, and the role of PLG.
• Build technical credibility with enterprise buyers, OT security advisors, design partners, the CEO, and Sales.

Requirements

• Track record of shipping AI products to real customers, including at least one product taken from zero to revenue.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills with engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in an early-stage environment with a new product line, design partners, and no established playbook.
• Willingness to learn complex industrial automation topics and how factories operate.

Nice to have

• Experience in OT, industrial automation, controls, manufacturing software, or cybersecurity.
• Experience at a growth-stage or venture-backed startup, or as a startup founder or operator.
• Experience with developer tools, source control, or DevOps platforms.
• Interest in manufacturing and hardware innovation.
