Product Designer (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Salary: $170,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global Security is building a cybersecurity platform designed to make complex security workflows clear, navigable, and trustworthy for security teams.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product design from research and discovery through interaction design, visual polish, and engineering hand-off.
• Translate complex security workflows into intuitive interfaces with product managers, engineers, and security researchers.
• Design core experiences across detection, investigation, response, and platform administration.
• Build and evolve a scalable design system that improves product velocity and consistency.
• Lead research with security practitioners through customer calls, shadowing, and usability testing.
• Contribute to product strategy and align the product experience with the hirify.global brand.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience at an enterprise SaaS company.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, research, tradeoffs, and shipped work.
• Experience designing for technical or expert users and dense, workflow-heavy products.
• Strong systems thinking and experience building and scaling design systems.
• Fluency in Figma and comfort with prototyping, linked components, and developer hand-off.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, observability, developer tools, or other technical enterprise products.
• Experience with AI/ML product surfaces, agentic workflows, natural-language interfaces, or LLM-driven experiences.
• Research experience with technical buyers or practitioners.
• Motion or prototyping skills, including using AI tools such as Claude to prototype in code and open pull requests.
