Salary: $140,000–$200,000 base salary annually

What you will do

• Help expand the business and finance briefing from twice-weekly publication to a daily must-read.
• Break significant, agenda-setting stories across private credit, hedge funds, private equity, banking, and global capital markets.
• Write reported columns and analytical pieces with a distinctive point of view for executives, investors, and decision-makers.
• Build and maintain senior-level sources across Wall Street, financial institutions, regulators, and political organizations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global newsroom.
• Appear on television, podcasts, live journalism programs, and other media, including hosting on-the-record interviews with senior business and finance leaders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of reporting experience with a demonstrated record of sourcing and breaking major stories.
• Established expertise and a strong voice on major financial news and market developments.
• Ability to move between breaking news, reported columns, and authoritative analysis.
• Comprehensive awareness of the competitive media landscape and existing coverage.
• Experience working in fast-moving, ambitious newsroom environments.
• Self-directed approach, flexibility, and strong passion for news.
