Senior Editor, Wall Street - CNBC

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: USD 170,000–210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and expand CNBC’s Wall Street coverage across deals, finance, and banking.
• Hire, guide, and collaborate with reporters to produce major scoops and enterprise stories.
• Set reporting priorities covering banks, brokers, fund managers, private markets, and major financial events.
• Launch and grow an initiative focused on deals, dealmakers, and deal analysis.
• Develop strategies to grow CNBC’s television and digital audiences.
• Coordinate reporting between CNBC’s television and digital platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of editing and management experience at a major business publication.
• 3+ years of building and managing reporting teams that deliver significant scoops.
• Strong understanding of finance and deals, with the ability to prioritize coverage.
• Ability to edit complex stories for a broad audience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least three office days per week.
