Business Manager - NEWS

Location: San Diego, United States; hybrid home/office workplace

Base salary: $111,108–$148,143 per year, plus an annual corporate bonus plan.

What you will do

• Develop, build, and lead marketing strategies for News Production Systems and Products.
• Manage marketing programs, promotions, communications, advertising, pricing, sales promotion, and distribution strategies.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly PDCA cycle to achieve organizational goals.
• Manage group P&L and related budgets, using sales and market research data to define business targets.
• Prepare and present business topics at review and planning meetings with Japan headquarters.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including introductions, discontinuations, and promotions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business management or a similar role, plus at least 3 years of product management experience.
• Experience developing business strategies and managing financial and budgetary processes.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, process improvement, presentation, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with database and information systems software, SAP BW and PRP, and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with a broadcast product manufacturer.
• Experience in news production or broadcast production.
• Power BI experience.
