Business Operations Analysis, Advisor

Location: Hybrid role based in Pomona, California; employees must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted. The role requires reporting to an SCE facility on set days, with remote work available on remaining days. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Support inspection programs focused on Aerial Transmission and Centralized Gatekeeping, as well as Transmission 360, Distribution 360, compliance ground inspections, and related notifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support business operations projects and stakeholder decisions.
• Improve operational processes, reporting dashboards, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and inspection reliability.
• Advise stakeholders, present analytical findings, and recommend actions affecting business operations.
• Develop models and business plan scenarios to evaluate priorities, options, and emerging technology investments.
• Verify that processes comply with applicable rules, laws, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to reduce operational risk.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in business operations analysis.
• Advanced experience with inspections, including Overhead Detailed Inspections and Aerial Transmission Inspections.
• Experience supporting technical projects, cross-functional teams, and technical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with SAP and SAS for creating notifications, retrieving data, and processing large datasets.
• Knowledge of Transmission and Distribution E1 notification lifecycles, remediation criteria, and/or California Public Utilities Commission General Orders 95, 128, and 165.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and GIS systems, plus general Transmission and Distribution construction knowledge.
