Senior Manager, Strategic Finance (Aerospace)

Publicly traded aerospace and defense company developing an autonomous flight platform for commercial and defense aviation.

What you will do

• Build revenue forecasting models connecting pipeline activity to recognized revenue based on contract types, milestones, and performance obligations.
• Establish controls and workflows creating an auditable path from opportunity to cash receipt.
• Design and implement scalable procure-to-pay processes covering requisitions, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, invoices, and payments.
• Develop operating expense forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, re-forecasts, and the annual operating plan.
• Partner with Legal, Accounting, Procurement, Finance, IT, and business owners on approvals, financial systems, and process implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement and assume long-term full P&L ownership for an assigned product line.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, revenue operations, or finance business partnering.
• Deep understanding of quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
• Experience designing and implementing financial processes and models from scratch.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition in milestone- or contract-based environments.
• Experience working across CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, QuickBooks, or Costpoint.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, SaaS, or hardware-intensive technology.
• MBA or CPA.
