Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (Aerospace): Leading corporate FP&A, budgeting, consolidation, executive reporting, and program finance for a complex multi-program aerospace enterprise with an accent on government contract compliance, revenue recognition, and financial systems. Focus on managing senior program finance leaders, integrating program-level data into corporate financial statements, and solving complex resource allocation and reporting challenges.
Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment

What you will do
- Manage, develop, and evaluate three Senior Program Finance Managers across R&D, government and commercial contracts, and capital development programs.
- Own corporate FP&A planning, budgeting, consolidation, monthly close support, and executive reporting.
- Consolidate program, business unit, and functional inputs into reconciled corporate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Standardize EAC processes, KPI definitions, variance frameworks, reporting templates, and review cadences.
- Oversee budgeting and consolidation platforms and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages to the CFO and executive team.
- Guide program finance teams on government contract compliance, audits, indirect rates, and reconciliation of CPR/IPMR data to corporate records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA is strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive FP&A, program finance, or financial controlling experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced technology, including 4+ years in senior leadership or management.
- Experience managing and developing senior finance professionals in a multi-program environment.
- Expertise in corporate financial planning and consolidation, including AOP, rolling forecasts, LRP, and board-level reporting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise budgeting and consolidation software such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, OneStream, Planful, or Hyperion.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, FAR Part 31, DFARS, CAS, and advanced driver-based financial modeling. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency and successful completion of a U.S. government background investigation are required.
