Staff Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $195,000–$315,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead full-stack feature development and ship production improvements rapidly.
• Build scalable systems and real-time pipelines processing terabytes of speech data.
• Deploy and evaluate LLM- and DSP-based solutions for customer data understanding.
• Develop and iterate data-collection interfaces in collaboration with research and Operations.
• Mentor engineers and establish technical standards as the team scales.
• Stay current with software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, and signal-processing frameworks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product-focused full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong web development fundamentals and experience building scalable, production-grade user experiences.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering solutions that create customer value.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with detail-oriented execution.
• Technical leadership or engineering management experience.
• AI/ML or audio experience is not required, but willingness to learn is essential.

Nice to have

• Educational or professional experience with digital signal processing and a deep understanding of speech.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Experience leading or managing engineering teams in high-growth environments.
