Software Engineer | Digital Operations (Fullstack)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Embed with business teams to identify, scope, and solve operational and technical problems.
• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications, internal tools, and REST APIs.
• Use AI and LLM technologies to accelerate development and build intelligent workflows.
• Translate ambiguous stakeholder requirements into technical designs and working solutions.
• Assess technical feasibility, communicate tradeoffs, and support intake and prioritization.
• Maintain technical documentation and support long-term adoption and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with full-stack development, including React/TypeScript and Python or Node.js.
• Experience with agentic coding tools, REST APIs, SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills, independent execution, prioritization, and adaptability.

Nice to have

• Startup or fast-paced, resource-constrained environment experience.
• Experience building internal tools and enterprise applications.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
• Experience integrating ERP, HRIS, PLM, or QMS systems.
• Experience delivering projects with minimal direction.
