Final Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role with up to 20% travel, including overseas customer sites

Salary: $29.14–$49.27 per hour, plus eligibility for a 10% second-shift differential, team incentive bonus, and benefits for regular employees working 20+ hours per week.

What you will do

• Execute quality control testing on newly built ion implantation systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose functionality problems discovered during testing.
• Implement corrective actions to keep testing and system delivery on schedule.
• Document test interventions to support preventative actions across manufacturing and design teams.
• Travel with Final Test Engineers to customer sites and support onsite testing for production readiness.
• Collaborate with assemblers, design and software engineers, management, customer engineers, vendor engineers, and operators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, or biomedical engineering, physics, or a related engineering or physical science discipline.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and testing across control systems, vacuum systems, virtual machines, robotics, and ion beam generation and delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including destinations in China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the United States, and the European Union.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary manufacturing team and interface with technical and customer stakeholders.
