R&D CMPT Applications Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; up to 20% global travel

What you will do

• Develop expertise in new products before market introduction.
• Lead baseline process development and prepare data packages for product commercialization.
• Transfer product and process expertise to global customers and local technical support teams.
• Troubleshoot customer and internal process issues, including process optimization, customization, and stabilization.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, field service engineering, technology organizations, R&D, and applications laboratories.
• Support company quality, safety, ethics, documentation, and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• At least three years of semiconductor, process development, or customer engagement experience.
• Minimum bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, materials engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Experience with project management, planning and execution, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making.
• Ability to work across semiconductor technical and cross-functional organizations.
• Availability for up to 20% global travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMP, advanced packaging, or semiconductor fabrication.
• Knowledge of design of experiments, statistical data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication metrology and procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer interaction skills.
