Senior Software Development Engineer (C# and .Net)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support efficient, reliable airline software applications.
• Analyze product backlog items and design, implement, test, and peer-review optimized solutions.
• Collaborate with a Scrum team to align priorities and deliver shared outcomes.
• Participate in operational rotations and resolve time-sensitive production issues within service expectations.
• Maintain training materials and support the functional and technical development of team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional programming experience with C#, .NET Framework, and SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server, API integration and implementation, and unit testing.
• At least 1 year of experience with enterprise-level systems involving coding, design, and production support.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Agile methodology.
• English verbal and written communication skills, analytical ability, and effective collaboration.

Nice to have

• Test automation with xUnit or NUnit and additional integration or performance testing.
• Cloud-deployed solutions, preferably with Azure or alternatively AWS.
• Angular or React web development experience.
• Microservice-based architecture, external API design, Azure SQL, Cosmos, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of the airline industry.
