Specialist, Cyber Intelligence (ISSO)

Salary: $80,500–$149,500 annually

What you will do

• Perform security control assessments and continuous monitoring for assigned information systems.
• Conduct configuration and vulnerability scans, remediate findings, and address security control deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain Assessment and Authorization documentation and evidence under the NIST Risk Management Framework.
• Assess and approve system change requests, oversee user training and account management, and support information system inspections.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and policy violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
• Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Knowledge of information technology, information assurance standards, and security regulations.

Nice to have

• DoD 8570 IAT II/IAM I certification and experience supporting classified systems under JSIG, ICD 503, or 32 CFR Part 117.
• Experience with ACAS, Nessus, SCAP, Evaluate STIG, DISA STIG hardening, and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with RMF authorization, system accreditation, and POA&M development.
• Experience with virtual or cloud environments, SIEM tools such as Splunk or Log Insight, and Linux/Unix command-line interfaces.
