Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, California office

Annual base salary: $149,000–$359,000 USD, with possible incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Design and build resilient, high-throughput distributed algorithms for the Enterprise Data Cloud engine.
• Own core platform components and deliver initiatives from architectural design through production rollout.
• Address complex challenges involving distributed consensus, resource allocation, fault tolerance, and high workload performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, and long-term architecture planning.

Requirements

• Technical proficiency writing clean, maintainable, concurrent C++ production code for high-performance systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, operating system internals including Linux, database engines, or containerized environments.
• Ability to analyze complex technical scenarios, debug systematically, and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex engineering tasks and collaborate across functional teams.
• Ability to work from the Santa Clara, California office in accordance with company policies.
