Software Engineer (C++)

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize infrastructure for market data, order entry, and execution across asset classes including options, equities, futures, crypto, and fixed income.
• Design fault-tolerant, low-latency systems for live trading, including WAN data prioritization and recovery from hardware failures.
• Profile and improve production code for throughput and latency.
• Build infrastructure for client-facing trading platforms, distributed network filesystems, and scalable research workflows.
• Develop software interfaces for specialized hardware such as FPGAs and ASICs.
• Collaborate with researchers, traders, and hardware specialists to solve complex engineering problems.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced C++ experience, preferably with daily professional use.
• Knowledge of UNIX operating systems, particularly Linux.
• Knowledge of system and processor performance and network communication.
• Strong design, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and advise other engineers.
