Senior Integrated Design Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Remote - Ohio, United States. Travel outside the home market may be required up to 25%, with on-site time varying by project needs.

What you will do

• Lead Integrated Design Management across multiple projects, buildings, or campuses.
• Align critical systems, design assumptions, high-cost scope, schedule, cost, and constructability early in the design process.
• Lead design reviews, coordination meetings, technical alignment discussions, and customer interface activities during fit-out design.
• Hold third-party design teams accountable for design quality, schedule adherence, and decision readiness.
• Maintain design gates, project requirements, risk registers, dashboards, milestones, and performance metrics through turnover to Operations.
• Mentor Integrated Design Managers and contribute to improvements in IDM tools, workflows, KPIs, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 9 or more years of experience managing complex commercial or mission-critical design programs.
• Strong data center or other technical-industry design and construction experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and mentor junior team members.
• Deep understanding of design coordination, system integration, cost drivers, and constructability.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet, and design management platforms, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
