Location: Kemmerer, Wyoming, United States. Travel required: 0–10%. The position is subject to U.S. Government export-control reviews; foreign nationals may require export authorization.

Salary: $122,518–$195,711 per year, with the range specific to Wyoming.

What you will do

  • Attend training to obtain a Senior Reactor Operator license for the Natrium plant and support other class members during the program.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain plant procedures, electronic procedures, training programs, and software-based support tools.
  • Perform plant design reviews and complete applicable 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 72.48 reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, project partners, regulators, vendors, industry peers, ASME, NEI, EPRI, and other organizations.
  • Ensure procedures and implementation processes comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO criteria, and applicable codes.
  • Support operations leadership with department goals, cost estimates, project schedules, and crew performance improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one qualifying background: a previously held Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license, a bachelor's degree in science or engineering, SRO-certified operator training instructor experience, or two years of qualified military reactor experience.
  • Deep knowledge of nuclear power plant systems, terminology, standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, attention to detail, and independent judgment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet ANSI/ANS 3.1 qualification requirements and adapt to changes during plant design, construction, and commissioning.
