Product Architect (Java)

Location: Offices based in A Coruña or Madrid, Spain

Salary: Starting from €50,000 annually, plus variable remuneration.

hirify.global develops the hirify.global Platform, a logical data integration, management, and delivery platform for self-service BI, data science, hybrid and multicloud integration, and enterprise data services.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain modules of the hirify.global Platform, its tooling, extensions, and associated ecosystem.
• Design and implement new product features and maintain existing functionality.
• Create and maintain automated tests as part of the development process.
• Work across areas including data source connectors, query optimization, caching, monitoring, resource management, deployments, scheduling, data discovery, and client tools.
• Create and maintain product documentation.
• Collaborate with a development team after completing product, process, and module-specific training.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing complex features.
• Strong Java programming experience, with knowledge of design patterns, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control, preferably Maven and Git.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database design, plus working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and cloud networking.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative and positive attitude.

• Agile software development experience.
• Software security techniques and technologies.
• Java web applications, server-side web technologies, JavaScript, and React.
• UI test automation with Selenium and Python programming experience.
• Google Cloud, identity providers such as Entra ID or Okta, OAuth, SCIM, SAML, Kerberos, cloud data warehouses, data lake engines, and NoSQL databases.
