What you will do

• Build and evolve an agent-first design system across iOS, Android, and web product surfaces.
• Define high-quality components, patterns, tokens, naming conventions, usage rules, and decision guidance.
• Improve design–engineering workflows through shared language, clearer handoffs, contribution processes, and review rhythms.
• Drive design-system adoption across the design organization and turn repeated product decisions into durable patterns.
• Own documentation and QA workflows, including AI-assisted checks for consistency, accessibility, and component usage.
• Collaborate with engineers on component APIs, constraints, technical implementation, and adoption.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience with substantial experience building design systems based on tokens, component APIs, and a code-based single source of truth.
• Meaningful experience contributing to components, patterns, tokens, governance, adoption, and design-system operations.
• Strong systems thinking, visual and interaction judgment, written communication, and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to work autonomously from problem definition through roadmap, delivery, and adoption.
• Fluency with AI and agents in design workflows, plus an accessibility and scalability mindset.
• Comfort building or modifying components in Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, or web technologies.

• Experience shipping consumer-scale mobile products across multiple markets and locales.
• Experience building a design system that engineers actively used and maintained.
• A perspective on the future of design-to-code and agent workflows.
• Experience in language learning, education, or another domain requiring cross-cultural product nuance.
