Senior Analyst/Associate, Private Fund Secondaries

Location: On-site in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Compensation: CA$100K–CA$200K annually, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Build relationships with fund managers, investors, fund administrators, and alternative investment platforms.
• Prospect new GPs and LPs through high-volume outbound email and cold calling.
• Own fund secondary transfers from diligence and buyer sourcing through transaction execution.
• Prepare pitch decks and partnership proposals for external stakeholders.
• Maintain CRM records, deal pipelines, internal trackers, and reporting on conversion rates and deal velocity.
• Diligence fund structures to qualify prospective SPV opportunities.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in venture capital secondaries, private market fund administration, sales and trading, investment banking, investment sales, or a related finance role.
• Experience prospecting and generating leads in a high-volume outreach environment.
• Experience creating institutional-grade marketing materials for external partners.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple client relationships and transaction workflows.
• Comfort working in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them shortly after joining.

Nice to have

• Experience with the formation, diligence, and administration of SPVs in VC-backed companies.
• Familiarity with carried interest, management fees, and waterfall mechanics.
• Front-office origination experience with high-net-worth individuals or institutions.
