Robotics Operations Technician IV

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; eligible to work in the United States. Up to 10% travel required.

Base pay: $41.25–$48.53 per hour, depending on experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Lead test infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, installation, and validation.
• Develop and revise laboratory and testbed layouts while coordinating electrical, networking, and mechanical integration.
• Prepare robots for daily testing and perform or oversee software and hardware tests.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software systems and maintain lab power, video, safety, and environmental infrastructure.
• Manage lab assets, tooling, equipment, documentation, workflows, and operational best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, contractors, facilities personnel, and stakeholders during demonstrations and executive visits.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–4 years of experience in technical operations or service, lab support, manufacturing, or field support.
• Knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, and mechanics, with advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience managing full-lifecycle projects and working with Linux or command-line systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for layout planning, with proficiency preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in the United States required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in rigging, maintenance, or similar labor fields.
• Experience with graphic or visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Forklift or scissor lift certification.
• Exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments.
