Senior Quality Systems Engineer / Quality Control Specialist

What you will do

• Implement, support, and improve the site Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain quality metrics and communicate site performance, trends, and improvement priorities to business and quality leaders.
• Coordinate third-party certification audits, internal audits, management reviews, and QMS support for other manufacturing sites.
• Maintain documented information, quality procedures, records, and document change management processes.
• Lead corrective action investigations, nonconformity reviews, effectiveness verification, and problem-solving activities.
• Coordinate continual improvement projects and analyze data related to customer satisfaction, complaints, and other site activities.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001; knowledge of IATF 16949 and AS9100D is desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience working within or managing an ISO 9001:2015-certified QMS.
• Experience performing internal audits and working with CAPA systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, operations, manufacturing management, or a related field.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, project management, and relevant manufacturing controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication, accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.

Nice to have

• Lead or Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949:2016.
• Experience with IATF 16949 requirements.
