Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support and drive manufacturing quality activities within assigned processes and areas.
• Apply SPC, MSA, RCA, 8D, Six Sigma, and related quality methods to investigate non-conformances and deviations.
• Analyse quality and process data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support audits, reviews, risk assessments, containment actions, corrective actions, and change control activities.
• Participate in or lead MRBs and support the disposition of non-conforming material.
• Coordinate quality alignment with business group, back-end, and front-end teams and prepare responses for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, science, or quality.
• At least 3 years of technical quality experience in semiconductors, electronics, or another demanding industry, depending on educational background.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing processes.
• Practical experience with quality tools and problem-solving methods, including SPC, 8D, Six Sigma, or Shainin.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools, along with strong planning and organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and German is required.

Nice to have

• Internal Auditor qualification, such as VDA 6.3 or IATF 16949.
