Quality Assurance Manager (USO)

Location: Kemmerer, Wyoming, USA. Relocation assistance is available. Travel required: 0–10%.

Salary: $134,629–$179,505 annually; the range is specific to Wyoming.

What you will do

• Implement, revise, and improve the quality assurance program for Kemmerer Power Station.
• Manage QA personnel, assignments, training, qualifications, certifications, and readiness.
• Ensure QA activities, procedures, records, and audits comply with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, NRC regulations, INPO criteria, and applicable industry standards.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary procedure reviews, database implementation, and program development with internal departments and external partners.
• Schedule and oversee internal and supplier audits, maintaining auditable quality documents and records.
• Provide training and mentoring while evaluating and improving QA activities with senior quality leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, quality assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of commercial nuclear power plant QA experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory, mentoring, or equivalent people-leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear power plant systems, terminology, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience interpreting nuclear industry information and standards, using procedure-management software, and working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Technical writing, communication, attention to detail, integrity, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changes during the design, construction, and commissioning of a new nuclear power plant.
