Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Remote across LATAM, including Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia

Salary: $84K–$96K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS, including cluster architecture, deployment patterns, and operational practices.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and automation for fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and resources with Terraform, and optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support Cloudflare configuration, including DNS, WAF, and related services.
• Partner with product engineers to provide tooling, guidance, automation, and platform best practices.
• Troubleshoot networking and transport-layer issues, evaluate complex systems, and implement improvements across the technology stack.

Requirements

• Production experience with Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS on AWS.
• Strong experience with CI/CD systems and automation-first workflows.
• Experience in platform or infrastructure roles providing tooling and guidance to product teams.
• Ability to own systems, communicate technical trade-offs, and collaborate effectively with different audiences.
• Ability to troubleshoot networking and transport-layer issues at scale.
• Eligibility to live and work in the LATAM region is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or GCP Logging.
• Cloud security best practices and cloud migration experience.
• Windows Server administration experience.
• Lucene-based search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Solr.
• Experience diagnosing data pipeline and Airflow issues.
