Senior Engineer II - Applications (Ethernet)

What you will do

• Provide technical support to field sales engineers and customers during product development.
• Create application notes, knowledgebase articles, user guides, and example code for Ethernet PHY and switch products.
• Identify gaps in customer enablement materials and set goals to improve documentation and support resources.
• Define high-level requirements for development teams to improve the customer experience in new products.
• Develop and present technical training, including webinars and hands-on workshops for customers, sales teams, and field application engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at least 7.5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming knowledge in C, C++, Python, and other embedded languages.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and the build process.
• Experience with customer support, customer enablement, and technical training development and presentation.
• Knowledge of embedded processor development flows and ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols, including TCP/IP and UDP, networking concepts, network management, and hardware/software debugging with laboratory equipment.
