Material Flow Specialist I

hirify.global is localizing the global battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and production of battery materials in the United States.

What you will do

• Handle volatile battery materials and operate powered industrial trucks, reach trucks, forklifts, and other mechanical aids according to safety procedures.
• Receive inbound shipments and prepare, stage, pick, and load materials for production areas.
• Manage internal material flow across receiving, inventory control, and loading workstreams.
• Maintain warehouse management system transactions and create reports supporting operational decisions.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and cycle counts while maintaining inventory accuracy and quality controls.
• Support material-flow strategies that improve operational efficiency and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, and reaching.
• Demonstrated safety track record and willingness to follow material-handling procedures.
• Previous warehousing experience is preferred.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Forklift and/or reach truck certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required.
• Willingness to contribute at all levels of the organization and interest in sustainability.
