Compiler Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Extend compiler IRs to represent algorithmic workloads with control flow and iterative computation beyond standard DNN graphs.
• Develop compilation strategies that combine analog compute with digital subsystems while preserving performance and correctness.
• Prototype and optimize irregular algorithms using vectorization, predication, scheduling, and related compiler techniques.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design ISA features and execution models for algorithmic workloads.
• Define higher-level programming abstractions that simplify prototyping and accelerate deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in compilers or high-performance systems software.
• Proficiency in modern C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with compiler IRs such as MLIR, LLVM, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong foundation in program analysis and optimization, including SSA form, loop optimizations, and vectorization.

Nice to have

• Experience developing MLIR or LLVM dialects for control flow or affine/polyhedral representations.
• Background in compiler-hardware co-design, including ISA or execution-model development.
• Experience optimizing irregular or control-flow-heavy algorithms in compiler IRs.
• Experience extending ML compiler stacks such as ONNX, IREE, XLA, PyTorch, or TVM beyond DNN workloads.
