DevOps / AgentOps Engineer, GTM Systems (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; hybrid with staff expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time

Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for a production Salesforce organization and custom internal applications.
• Define agentic, human-in-the-loop, and AI-assisted delivery lanes, including validation gates and escalation rules.
• Build the agent operations layer covering agent scope, tools, permissions, sandboxing, and supervision boundaries.
• Implement separate pull-request review and business approval workflows with appropriate evidence requirements.
• Own environments, secrets handling, deployment observability, kill switches, rollback, and audit trails.
• Measure pipeline performance and help engineers adopt governed delivery workflows.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, including branching, merge gating, and rollback.
• Hands-on Salesforce deployment experience or experience with a comparable enterprise platform.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and agentic workflows, including defining appropriate human oversight.
• Experience designing for failure cases, blast radius, sandboxing, permissions, and automated-change risks.
• Comfort with GitHub Actions or a comparable CI system, infrastructure as code, and scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping agents or automation in production systems of record.
• Experience operating platforms under SOX or a similar audit regime.
• Experience with Gearset, Copado, or sfdx-based Salesforce DevOps pipelines.
• Experience migrating manual deployments to governed pipelines.
• Experience building approval or notification workflows in Slack or comparable tools.
