CAD Administrator

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States. Travel to customer and mission-relevant locations may be required.

Salary: $140,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is a Series C startup developing mass-producible, inherently safe nuclear microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

What you will do

• Own the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Siemens NX CAD environment.
• Develop CAD standards, templates, Check-Mate rules, workflow automation, and NX customization tools.
• Establish and enforce CAD modeling, drafting, and data-management best practices.
• Create, maintain, and manage accurate, robust, and scalable large NX assemblies.
• Review and improve CAD models and engineering drawings for standards compliance and quality.
• Partner with Responsible Engineers and multidisciplinary teams on mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, and nuclear microreactor hardware.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Siemens NX administration and design experience in a complex mechanical engineering environment.
• Experience developing CAD standards, templates, reusable libraries, Check-Mate rules, NX automation, or customization using NX Open, journals, or similar tools.
• Expertise creating manufacturing-ready engineering drawings using ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.
• Experience administering or supporting PDM systems, including CAD data, part structures, revisions, metadata, and engineering change workflows.
• Must work onsite in Torrance, California.
• Applicants must meet U.S. government export-control eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline.
• 8+ years of Siemens NX experience in complex product development.
• Experience with Python, NX Open, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages for engineering automation.
• Experience in nuclear, aerospace, robotics, or other regulated and high-performance industries.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience supporting fast-paced hardware development.
