Forward Deployed Product Builder (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in or open to relocating to Austin, Texas, USA

hirify.global is a growing startup mapping subsurface infrastructure and providing real-time utility data to the construction and infrastructure industry. The company has 120 employees and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Austin, Texas.

What you will do

• Run continuous discovery with utility-owner customers through calls, site visits, and workflow shadowing.
• Identify customer pain points, market opportunities, target sub-segments, positioning, and productization strategies.
• Use AI-native tools such as Claude and Cursor to design, prototype, iterate, and demonstrate working software.
• Translate validated concepts into production-ready requirements and collaborate closely with engineering through handoff.
• Define and track segment outcomes including adoption, revenue, and land-and-expand growth.
• Build expertise in civil infrastructure, damage prevention, and the relevant regulatory landscape.

Requirements

• BA, BS, BE, MBA, or another relevant educational background in business, computer science, architecture, or industrial engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting and/or product management at a B2B SaaS, data, or AI-native company.
• Ability to independently design, prototype, and ship working software using modern AI tools, with enough technical understanding to evaluate and correct generated output.
• Experience or ability to operate in a 0-to-1, forward-deployed product role without an established playbook.
• Strong strategic problem-solving, customer communication, and ability to translate customer needs for engineering.
• Must be based in or open to relocating to Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience combining top-tier consulting and hands-on product work.
• A side project, startup, or open-source project built substantially with AI tools.
• Exposure to utility infrastructure, civil damage prevention, permitting, compliance, fines, or infrastructure-project risk.
• Prior engineering experience or a technical degree.
