2nd Shift Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Columbia, South Carolina, five days per week. The role requires second-shift and flexible-hour availability, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Salary: $18.50 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect parts, assemblies, and air handler units against quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Verify that engineering drawings match the inspected products.
• Use manufacturing shop-floor systems to confirm products are built to required standards.
• Identify, document, and record non-conforming parts and assemblies in the database.
• Work with production leaders, team leaders, and assembly operators to implement corrective measures and prevent recurring non-conformances.
• Provide training on manufacturing quality standards as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of related experience, or an associate degree in a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance and auditing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, overtime, and a second shift.
