Principal Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 base salary per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Own significant, ambiguous product problem spaces from discovery through delivery.
• Work directly with SOC analysts, detection engineers, and threat hunters to identify and validate customer problems.
• Turn validated opportunities into clear product bets and decide which ideas should be pursued or stopped.
• Partner daily with engineering and research to create epics with clear success criteria and appropriate scope.
• Ship products that improve security outcomes and help customers move toward hunt-first security operations.

Requirements

• Deep cybersecurity knowledge, with the ability to discuss detection logic, attacker tradecraft, and hunt hypotheses.
• Experience in SOC, incident response, or threat research is strongly relevant.
• Strong product management skills, including discovery, writing epics and stories, defining success criteria, and R&D partnership.
• A proven track record of shipping meaningful products; this is not an entry-level product management role.
• Comfort working with speed and ambiguity in a Series A environment.
