UK Project Manager

Location: Hybrid in London, England, with remote working permitted within the United Kingdom. Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom and be willing to travel occasionally.

What you will do

• Lead complex software projects across space systems, network orchestration, and digital ground segment technologies.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resources, and success criteria.
• Establish project governance, including progress reviews, risk registers, change control, and continuous improvement processes.
• Coordinate software engineers, system architects, research partners, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and funding bodies.
• Prepare project documentation, technical deliverables, progress reports, presentations, proposals, and tender inputs.
• Identify and mitigate programme and technical risks while ensuring timely, high-quality, and on-budget delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading and delivering technical or software projects, preferably in space or network communications products.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification.
• Experience with MS Project or other project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility and resilience in a rapidly changing startup environment.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with ESA, Horizon Europe, or defence-related projects.
• Understanding of network orchestration, satellite communications, or ground systems.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
