Junior Trust & Safety Investigator

Location: Arizona, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work three days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $51,000–$64,000 annually in Phoenix, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Support Trust & Safety escalations from customer support, claims, leadership, and law enforcement.
• Manage assigned risk-related cases, including missing vehicles and other issues affecting community and marketplace safety.
• Conduct detailed investigations, review user accounts and transactions, and identify risk signals.
• Collect documentation and evidence, assist with interviews, and communicate case developments to investigators and management.
• Build working relationships with law enforcement, external partners, and investigators.
• Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Entry-level profile with a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, judgment, prioritization, and investigative skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and maintain high responsiveness and availability.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.
• High integrity, strong work ethic, teamwork, and commitment to the Trust & Safety mission.
• Work authorization requirements are subject to US employment regulations, including participation in the Federal E-Verify program.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of experience in investigations, Trust & Safety, loss prevention, fraud, or risk management.
• Experience with Kustomer, CRM systems, Google Docs, or Microsoft Office.
• Mac expertise.
