Fraud Operations Manager (Fraud)

Location: New York, United States; based at the Flatiron NYC headquarters Monday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Fridays.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Become an expert in hirify.global’s fraud platform and help customers optimize its use.
• Analyze fraud patterns using AI, data, geolocation, and behavioral signals to improve fraud detection and decisioning.
• Own fraud strategy for a portfolio of customers and advise them on operational improvements.
• Translate emerging fraud trends and customer insights into recommendations for the fraud product roadmap.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to improve fraud capabilities and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fraud operations, risk, or trust and safety.
• Experience in banking, fintech, payments, marketplaces, or high-growth technology companies.
• Experience using geolocation or behavioral signals to detect and prevent fraud.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on SQL experience for fraud investigations and trend analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex fraud problems to technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
