Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services for web and mobile applications.
• Own backend features from technical design and implementation through production deployment and ongoing improvements.
• Write maintainable, documented TypeScript code with strong testing standards and established design patterns.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data flows for reliability and performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, production troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with Nest.js or similar backend frameworks.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
