Senior Backend Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote, based in Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv District, Israel

What you will do

• Lead complex backend projects from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
• Drive architectural and technology decisions for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Own critical backend components and improve performance, efficiency, and stability.
• Lead design and code reviews while promoting engineering best practices.
• Identify technical challenges and balance short-term delivery with long-term technical quality.
• Collaborate with Frontend and DevOps teams, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience.
• Experience working with major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with backend and cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Redis, TimescaleDB, and RabbitMQ.
• Ability to own complex projects, make technical decisions, and contribute to backend architecture and scalability.
