Sr. Engineer - Cloud (Cloud)

What you will do

• Design and build highly scalable, resilient distributed systems and cloud-based data protection solutions.
• Develop security solutions for data across endpoints, cloud, and SaaS environments.
• Work with Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, and related technologies.
• Participate in platform-level initiatives, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Own deliverables, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve architecture, performance, stability, and user experience.
• Mentor developers on cloud and backend technologies and collaborate across globally distributed teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of industry experience building complex distributed systems.
• Experience with Go, Java, or Python.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability challenges, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture.
• Production experience with commercial clouds including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience developing applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating solutions with Google, Microsoft, and Box platforms and APIs.
• Prior cybersecurity experience.
