Backend Software Engineer (Autonomous Delivery)

What you will do

• Build and own backend features end to end, including design, coding, testing, rollout, and production follow-up.
• Develop features for a distributed, event-driven backend.
• Work on order state machines, ETA prediction, app integrations, and user-facing functionality.
• Ship quickly and deliver end-to-end impact.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on backend experience.
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including the ability to reason about concurrency, state, and failure modes.
• Write tests to verify code correctness.
• Curious, direct, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Ability to ask questions, challenge unclear decisions, and take ownership without waiting for assignment.
