Software Engineer, Integration and Distributed Systems

Salary: $104,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Extend existing tools to integrate with third-party simulation software.
• Maintain and improve tools for running computational jobs on AWS.
• Bring cluster-based tools to feature parity with AWS tools.
• Build and improve job monitoring, error reporting, retry mechanisms, and other core services.
• Collaborate with customers to support adoption and continuously improve the product experience.

Requirements

• Experience with C++ or another compiled language.
• Familiarity with structured software development practices, including revision control and code review.
• Familiarity with parallel and concurrent systems.
• Facility with command-line tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with geometric computation.
