Senior Planning Engineer (Construction)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Lead planning activities covering project scope, tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Analyze and optimize schedules, implement changes, and support adherence to project deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align planning with project objectives.
• Prepare progress reports, identify risks, and develop contingency and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate schedule-related meetings, ensure compliance with planning standards, and mentor junior planning engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of planning engineering experience in construction or real estate.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current construction trends, technologies, and best practices.
