Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Torrance, California, United States; may require up to 50% travel

Salary: $154,000–$215,500 USD per year base salary, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Drive supplier development, NPI builds, production ramp-up, quality improvement, and capacity scaling.
• Review engineering designs for manufacturability and develop structured process flows with critical control points and risk assessments.
• Assess supplier capacity, equipment throughput, labor efficiency, and line balancing for NPI and mass-production readiness.
• Partner with design engineering and procurement to align parts with supplier capabilities and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and provide technical support.
• Define supplier technical and quality requirements, implement PPAP, and approve process controls for critical characteristics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, process, or supply chain engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience manufacturing PCB assemblies, mechanical assemblies, or electronic assemblies.
• Experience with supplier quality processes, including PPAP, APQP, and first article inspection reports.
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9000, TS, AS9100, or NADCAP.
• Knowledge of statistical methods including design of experiments and Six Sigma, with a track record of ownership, negotiation, and delivering results.
