Internship Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Hawthorne, California; onsite

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year

Company

Develops and builds lunar exploration systems and hardware, including rovers, power systems, and data networks for sustained operations on the Moon.

What you will do

• Develop, own, and refine the internship program from inception through completion.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify internship needs and coordinate recruiting activities.
• Build relationships with student organizations and other early-career talent sources.
• Coordinate intern recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Plan and facilitate intern orientation, training, networking events, and final presentations.
• Track program metrics, improve recruiting strategies and the intern experience, maintain documentation, and ensure OFCCP compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience running internship programs, university recruiting, talent acquisition, program management, or related work.
• Experience building or scaling internship or early-career programs.
• Experience partnering with universities, student organizations, and faculty to build talent pipelines, preferably through technical organizations and events such as robotics competitions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, or other technical organizations.
• Experience managing intern conversion programs and measuring hiring outcomes.
• Familiarity with OFCCP, EEO, and employment law as related to university recruiting.
