What you will do

• Define and drive end-to-end fault-tolerant architectures spanning quantum error-correction theory and hardware implementation.
• Make architectural trade-offs across QEC codes and fault-tolerant logic under real device constraints and noise.
• Translate error-correction theory into hardware-aware protocols and validate them on physical quantum devices.
• Co-design system architecture with quantum algorithms for AI and machine-learning workloads.
• Establish simulation, modeling, and benchmarking frameworks to guide system design and technical roadmaps.
• Set technical direction and mentor experimental and theoretical physicists, engineers, and computer scientists.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, applied physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architecture, including senior or lead roles.
• Strong publication record in quantum error correction, fault tolerance, or related fields.
• Experience implementing and validating QEC or fault-tolerant protocols on real quantum hardware.
• Experience taking quantum technology from theory through deployment, preferably in an industry setting.
• Strong scientific programming, multidisciplinary project leadership, and technical communication skills.
