Technical Sourcer (AI)

Location: SF Bay Area; must be based in San Francisco and work in the office 5 days a week

Salary: $45–$55 per hour

What you will do

• Build sourcing systems and a referral engine to support hiring growth.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans through creative channels.
• Research, identify, and engage highly qualified passive technical candidates at scale.
• Partner with technical hiring managers and interviewers to define hiring needs, skills, qualifications, and team fit.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term talent acquisition strategies across technical teams.
• Track pipeline data and optimize sourcing methods while adapting to changing priorities and hard-to-fill roles.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience at an AI company or high-growth startup.
• Strong technical literacy when reviewing resumes, GitHub profiles, and research paper abstracts.
• Proven ability to engage and convert passive, in-demand technical talent.
• Experience with AI recruiting tools and designing, testing, and adapting sourcing strategies.
• High agency, strong organization, attention to detail, autonomy, and clear communication.
• Must be based in San Francisco and work onsite five days per week.

Nice to have

• Strong relationships in the San Francisco startup, engineering, and research community.
• Experience building a sourcing or recruiting function from scratch at an early-stage startup.
• Experience with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting automation tools.
